The Rankin Court Treatment Centre (RCTC) operates as a specialized unit providing treatment for opiate dependence.
It is the aim of Rankin Court to assist people with issues around opiate use to improve their health and social wellbeing by reducing and/or eliminating their use. We achieve this by providing treatment, developing relationships, building trust and providing health information.

The aims of the STP are to:
- Assist people using stimulants who want to reduce or cease use
- Assist people who are abstinent avoid relapse
- Establish a clinical model for those experiencing co-occurring mental health and stimulant-related problems
- Reduce health, social and legal costs associated with stimulant use
- Improve the health and social outcomes of people who use stimulant drugs
- From a framework of harm reduction, we work with stimulant users who wish to develop safer ways of using and/or attain or maintain abstinence.
- Harm minimization is the overarching framework of the STP, and a strengths-based, stepped-care approach with individual counselling is the core treatment provided.

- Counselling for women who are wanting help with their use of alcohol or drugs

- Referrals to other health and community services

Dianella Cottage provides a group-based day program for women over 18 years with problematic drug and alcohol dependence.
We believe that behind a history of drug and alcohol dependence is a woman with a story. Change is possible – women just need the opportunity and support to make that happen. Women are powerful but sometimes don’t realize this.

O’Connor House Alcohol Detoxification and Rehabilitation Service A 10 bed alcohol detoxification and motivation unit funded by the NSW Health Department through the Greater Southern Area Health Service. The unit provides care for clients from a wide geographical area of country New South Wales and north-east Victoria.

The Glen offers a long-term residential program based on the twelve step programs of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. We have group counselling, one to one counselling and work programs, in which all clients are expected to participate. Clients also attend outside meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, usually of an evening.

The Lyndon Community is a non-government organisation providing alcohol and other drug treatment in residential and non residential programs. The organisation provides residential services in Orange and Canowindra and non residential programs to much of the Central West, including the Murdi Paaki Region (from Brewarrina to Dareton), and in Bega on the South Coast of NSW. Services include withdrawal, rehabilitation, SMART recovery groups, education programs, women’s groups, mental health and drug use groups, family support and kids programs and one to one counselling.

Phoebe House is a nine bed residential treatment service for women, with a child, who are currently on a program of methadone maintenance. The program at Phoebe House provides therapeutic groups, external counselling, education and support around drug dependence issues and social, material and personal well-being for women and their children. The service aims to assist women to develop their personal resources and enable themselves to enhance their lifestyles and interpersonal relationships

Jarrah House is a not for profit organisation established to provide an effective and therapeutic residential drug and alcohol treatment service for women.
Jarrah House offers a medicated detox for alcohol and other substances followed by a short-term rehabilitation program. The rehabilitation program teaches women how to keep safe from substance related harm by exploring relapse prevention, communication and healthy living strategies.

The Buttery’s long-term residential treatment program operates as a Therapeutic Community where the community of residents itself is the main vehicle for promoting personal change through self-help and mutual support. Co-located on its Binna Burra Campus is the MTA (Maintenance To Abstinence) program, also a residential program, which is for people currently being maintained on opioid substitutes such as Buprenorphine, (Suboxone or Subutext) or Methadone, who wish to move to an abstinence based lifestyle.

Namatjira Haven provides residential programs for Aboriginal men requiring assistance in dealing with substance misuse, abuse and domestic violence issues. The centre currently has 14 beds and is located on NSW North Coast 2.5kms from Alstonville.
Our healing centre also provides outreach family health and wellbeing support services to family members of residents.

Kathleen York House accommodates up to seven residents and children in our historic house in Sydney’s inner west. We provide an intensive long term therapeutic program, with active links to the local community. Our Transition and Aftercare programs support women as they step back into the community and recommence independent living.
