The centre is located in beautiful Prince Albert just off the north parking lot of the Victoria Hospital on 9th Ave West.

Prince Albert Family Treatment Centre (family services available) Prince Albert, SK Phone: 306-765-6375 The Family Treatment Centre allows for up to eight mothers to access integrated addiction treatment that also works with the patient on their physical health and parenting needs. Onsite childcare and school services, and specialized living quarters enable mothers to attend inpatient alcohol and drug addiction treatment without barriers to childcare while accessing services. Treatment will be culturally affirming to best suit the diverse needs of Saskatchewan patients. In addition to the family treatment facility, the centre houses a separate 10 bed child and youth mental health unit.

Our residential program uses a client centered approach that allows us to asses each client's needs on an ongoing basis. We use a variety of approaches including large and small group processing, discussion groups, lectures, experiential learning activities and on-one-counselling. Core lectures and activities are provided to assist clients in gaining insight into themselves and skills related to emotional, intellectual and social functioning.

Clients are part of a gender specific primary group that meets five times per week, where clients can share more intimate details of their story.
